This website
Ricaba operates this game and community website. Browsing does not require an account. There are no payment forms, analytics scripts or advertising trackers. Fonts, illustrations, scripts and interface previews are served from ricaba.com. The website does not set cookies or use browser storage to track visitors.
Web server logs
When you request a page, our server necessarily receives connection information. Routine access logs may include your IP address, request date and time, requested address, response status, browser user agent and referring page. We use these logs to operate, troubleshoot and protect the website. Logs are rotated daily with ten rotated archives retained. Website hosting is provided by our VPS infrastructure provider, Hetzner.
Contact form
The contact form sends your name, email address, selected product and message to our private support inbox on the VPS. We use these to respond to your inquiry. Access is limited to administrators. Form submissions are automatically removed after 90 days; you may ask for earlier deletion. The form does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.
Email support
If you email hello@ricaba.com, Ricaba and our email provider receive your email address, message and any attachments. We use them to respond to your inquiry. You can ask about or request deletion of your correspondence at the same address; any applicable retention obligations will be explained in our response.
Ricaba accounts in apps
The installed Android version 1.4 of 2048 Reborn supports an optional Ricaba account with Google sign-in. We process Google identifiers and basic profile information provided by Google to authenticate and maintain that account. Public player names, generated avatars and ranked scores are separate from the Google email and profile picture. Google handles its own authentication under its privacy policy; Ricaba does not receive Google passwords. Local boards and recent game history remain on the phone. Read the app’s Google-account privacy section for storage and retention, and the account deletion instructions. Browsing this website does not sign you in to Google.
Online account deletion
The Reborn account-deletion form transmits the recovery credential over HTTPS to verify ownership and delete the associated profile. It is not placed in the contact inbox or saved in persistent browser storage by this website. The game service stores a derived credential hash as described in the app privacy policy.
App information is separate
Visiting this website does not send us your saved game or app records. Read the policy for the app you use for its data handling.
